Established in 1985, Shanghai Volkswagen Automotive Co., Ltd. (SVW) is a Sino-German car-making joint venture. The investment ratio between the German and the Chinese shareholders is 50:50. Covering an area of 3,330,000m2, SVW is headquartered in Anting International Auto City on the northwest outskirts of Shanghai. The newly established Nanjing branch is the fourth car plant of SVW, which is located in the Jiangning Economic and Technology Development Zone in Nanjing with an area of 635,000 m2. Lenovo (Shanghai) Electronics Technology Co., Ltd (original Shanghai Lenovo Electronic Co., Ltd.) was established in May 15, 2007 as Shanghai critical operation center of Lenovo Group to meet its business expansion demand. Located at No. 68 Building£¨199 Fenju Road £¨Wai Gao Qiao FTZ, it covers area of 28000m2 with total investment of 6 million US dollars and registered capital of 3 million US dollars. There are 8 production lines put into use and the capacity is 12 million PCs annually. Zhejiang Ningbo Metal Recycling Resources Processing Park is a new type logistics park close tu the harbor, which is initiated by Ningbo Zhenhai people' s government. It is located in Ningbo zhenhai port. The total planed area of the park is 3000 MU, among which the greenbelt is 990 MU and the virescence coverage will reach 33 percent. The isolation boundary river and road around the park takes 480 MU of ground. The land of the park takes up an area of 1530 MU actually. The construction plan was started since April of 2001 and the ground was broken formally in December of 2001. With full support of the state, the province, the Environmental Protection Bureau of the city, the Customs and the Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Administration, the park builders have been trying to make innovation constantly and keep forging ahead actively, and have made good construction achievement.
