You can easily reach Basel by plane, train and car. Basel has an international airport offering direct scheduled flights to many destinations in Europe. The airport is about 15 minutes from the city. If you are travelling from overseas, you can fly to Zurich and take a direct train to Basel. Travelling time approx. 1¹/₄ h.
